Hi, We’re Glad You’re Here!

A Journey Unfolds

The story of Williams Orchard dates back to the 1860’s when Ester Williams purchased a bundle of fruit trees from a traveling salesmen and planted those trees on this property. The orchard was passed down generation to generation in the Williams family, and most recently was farmed by Ken “Apple Ken” Williams. Ken farmed the orchard up to age 97, with 2017 being his final season. In February of 2018 Ken passed away.

A New Chapter Begins

In 2019 the Williams family sold the orchard to the Drummond family.  With a passion for the outdoors and a desire to preserve the rich history of the orchard, the Drummond’s set forth on their journey to renovate and restore the grounds for all to enjoy.

The Journey of our venue

They say if these walls could talk, they’d tell stories of hard work, long nights, and a whole lot of heart. This barn wasn’t just built- it was transformed. With its original wood preserved, it holds onto its history, while the added industrial elements give it a fresh, modern touch. It’s a space where rustic charm meets refined style, and every inch of it is a testament to the love and care poured into its renovations.

Jon and Robyn are both originally from Holland, MI. We married in 2015 and relocated from living in Chicago to Northwest Indiana in 2017 after the birth of our first child. In 2019 we purchased the orchard from the Williams Family in pursuit of owning a beautiful property to share with our family and friends. Jon’s career is in corporate insurance, but farming and hunting are his passions. Robyn formerly worked in non-profit fund raising and event planning, she now stays home with our three young kids. The orchard is our hobby and labor of love.

We look forward to sharing our special place with you! Love, The Drummond Family.

Rooted in tradition, growing with love, and harvesting memories for generations to come.
